Project Summary

For this case, we customized 1,500 sets of board games for our customer. This board game makes a lot of sense since it’s our customer’s first design.

Here are the details:

– 36 standard cards, 56 mm x 87 mm, 2-sided, 4/4c + gloss lam on 300 gsm C2S
– 16 wooden tokens, diameter 25mm, thickness 7mm (4 blue, 4 red, 4 yellow, 4 black), with white front marking (4 symbols) recto.
– 1 boardgame punch 140×100, one side, full color printing, matte quality, 4/0c + matt lam on 250gsm CCNB + 1.5mm board + plain on 250gsm CCNB
– 4 wooden tokens, diameter 10mm, thickness 4mm (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 black).
– 1 A4 game rule, 1 double-sided page, folded, 200 x 280mm, folded to 100 x 140mm, 4/4c on 128gsm art paper
– 1 lid and up box, 110x150x40mm, full color printed front and back. 4/0c + gloss lam on 128gsm art paper over 2mm board

Customer Requirements for the Board Game
– Customer decided to change the box design and needs us to provide the template.
– Customize complex components

Our Solution To Achieve The Game Requirements
1. Our customer initially designed a tuck box for this board game. After our discussion and comparison, we suggested using a lid and bottom box, which is more beautiful and practical. After that, we updated the box size provided by the customer to our designer, and then the designer designed the die line for the box. Finally, our customer confirmed it, and we started to make a digital proofing sample.

2. We leveraged our well-established supply chain to quickly compare costs and quality. We make sure to reduce costs while maintaining high quality. Finally, after comprehensive consideration, we found the most cost-effective supplier and perfectly customized the components.
